THE ACCOMMODATION – 17 duplexes (8 x 3 bedroom and 9 x 2 bedroom) have been designed specifically for over 55s, incorporating elements such as oversize garages and bedrooms. The architecture of the buildings works in harmony with the environment: the broken roofline allows for large amounts of natural light to flood the duplexes, most will have a north facing deck, and the building aspect will allow for natural climate control.
THE CLUBHOUSE – Village residents will have access to this purpose-built facility for community meetings/activities, private functions, etc. The Clubhouse will also incorporate a healthcare consulting room which can be used by visiting healthcare professionals. There will also be landscaped BBQ areas available for use by residents and their visitors.
RESTAURANT – A central hub for the Village is the restaurant which will also provide a wonderful facility for Northern Beaches’ locals and visitors. The restaurant will deliver a mix of Bistro and Classic dining for a maximum of 70 customers. It will also cater for guests in the holiday respite cottages. 21 onsite carparking spaces will be provided. A separate development application has been lodged for this proposal.
THE VILLAGE BUS – The Village will have its own mini-bus available for residents needs.
